Start with what your shop needs
We compare ServiceM8, Jobber and Housecall Pro for US electrical-service businesses with one to five users. The finder checks your people, job volume, devices and required features against the vendor information we have. A matching plan is worth investigating; it is not a guarantee that you will like using it.
Documentation is not a product trial
Prices, features and screenshots come from the vendors, with sources attached. We have not personally tested these workflows. “Unknown” means we still need to confirm the detail; it does not mean the feature is missing.
Costs and ordering
Plans that cover your selected needs with a complete cost come first, lowest 12-month cost first. Other options keep their unanswered questions visible. The total covers 12 paid subscription months; monthly billing with an annual commitment is different from annual prepayment. We calculate in cents and never treat an unknown required charge as zero. Plan names break cost ties. Commission and affiliate approval do not enter these decisions.
Review dates matter
Our review policy is seven days for prices and thirty for features and contracts, or sooner when we learn of a change. Downloading a source is not a review. When a price is overdue for checking, we remove its current cost label and paid link.
Test before switching
Take the six-fixture trial worksheet through the exact plan and phones you would use. Record what worked and what did not. Keeping your current tools is a valid outcome.
